Prayers

These (nonreligious) prayers are meant to be modified by you to fit your person, situation, or beliefs. You can use them for yourself, too!

When someone we care about is faced with a serious illness, profound loss, or trauma, we tend to collapse in worry and fear. Prayer is an antidote to that. It’s a way to bring positive energy (light) to a person or a situation instead of feeling powerless, or hopeless, or that there’s nothing we can do to help.  It puts you in an active state, in which you are sending good energy to your person, rather than a passive state of worry. And no matter the outcome, praying is good for all parties.

The idea with these prayers is to visualize a desired state.
